This Italian salad gets a nice bite by adding the popped cheese balls

Italian pasta salad with Cheesepop Gouda

  • 120 g penne
  • 60 g curly lettuce
  • 3 sun-dried tomatoes
  • 10 cherry tomatoes
  • 4 tbsp kalamata olives
  • 1.5 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp white wine vinegar
  • 30 g Cheesepop Gouda (cup 65 g)


  1. Cook the penne until al dente as directed on the package. Drain and let it cool down for a while.
  2. Tear the lettuce into rough pieces and divide among the plates. Spread the pasta over it.
  3. Cut the sun-dried tomatoes into strips and the cherry tomatoes in half. Divide the sun-dried tomatoes, cherry tomatoes and olives over the salad.
  4. Drizzle the salad with olive oil and white vinegar.
  5. Sprinkle the Cheesepop Gouda over it just before serving.
